New Here? I've Gotcha Covered.

Happy Hump Day!  Or as I like to call it,
"Day to get stuff done because my MIL keeps the two little ones on Wednesdays" Day.

I want to welcome some of you newer readers to this space of mine.  Helllloooooooo!
I thought it may be a little easier to catch up with things if I just lay it all out for ya'....you know, without having to go through the archives to figure out vague references I assume people know, such as "pigs" and "four kids."

Our third daughter

My husband and I have known each other since we were 13.  We got married when we were 22 and at 29 had four kids, with whom I'm so very blessed to be able to stay home.
(Our goal was to be done having kids by 30 and each child was planned...'cause I know you're wondering.)

We're both native Texans, of which I'm very proud....it's kinda obvious, I know.
It's possible to catch me whining about our non-Fall, short winters, or brutal summers any day of the week, however,
we mitigate those summers with frequent lake excursions, pool time, or even a cross-country drive.

I've blogged since 2008, but after my son was born, I started a personal style blog to kick start my fashion sense.  For some reason, pregnancy brain took any and all style I had prior....not to mention what four kids does to a body.
It didn't take too long before I merged the two blogs into The Mrs. & The Momma.

I still post about my style choices and occasionally name my jewelry....
But I've also incorporated things close to my heart and craftiness I didn't know I possessed. :)
This blog has really evolved into a blog about my life.
Or at least the parts of it I choose for you to see.

I want my kids to look back on this someday and remember all the wonderful times we had as a family.
And if they happen to gain some style inspiration from their momma...
Well then, even better.

But I'm pretty sure it's just gonna be the memories.
