Keepin' It Real With Our First Home Tour {vlog}

Y'all know I like to keep it real, right?
Meaning...showing my chaotic, messy new house and myself with no makeup is something that I would do, right?
Actually, that's exactly what I'm doing today. I need your help. Decorating a new home is tough cookies, especially when that doesn't come naturally to some.  {pointing at myself}
So, please be kind.  I know most people can't help but judge...so go ahead and judge.  And then comment with your helpful suggestions, ideas, etc... And then forget you ever saw this. Until, of course, the time that you see the "after" and you'll are like "WHOA."

So tell me your thoughts on how to make this house what my Pinterest board tells me it can be! Help a momma out!

Hair Tutorial: Curling a Short Bob

After having several people ask me how I do my hair curly (with this short bob of mine), I thought I'd do a little video on how it's done.  Styling my hair like this not only helps disguise the thinness of it, but also allows me to stretch a washing out several days...doing my civic duty to conserve water. (wink, wink)

Please ignore the vertical Blair Witch style video skills , as well as my husband's pajama pants.  :)  Oh, and when I say "DIY" I mean "tutorial."

To add to what I mentioned about product, here's what I use:

Hot Chocolate Date

If we were having coffee, er I mean hot chocolate with lots of marshmallows and cinnamon, together today....

I would most likely be talking your ear off about all the balls I currently have up the in air.  And I would probably want to know your input on how to manage it all.  I would also mention that I cleaned up the background specifically for this vlog, however, the rest of my house is pretty unsightly.
(there.  now you know my dark secret.)
