The BEST OF Friday Style Link Up #19

Our 4th of July was very traditional yet revolutionary in terms of what we did and how we did it.  Ever since we've had kids, our 4th of July's haven't been the same as they were before (naturally)....but I think now, almost 8 years later...we're on the right track.  I'll explain more next week with a recap, but suffice it to say, we had a grand time.

I mentioned last week, I hardly ever plan out the BEST OF theme ahead of time....except for last week....and this one.  For obvious reasons, of course.

This week's BEST OF theme is Americana in honor of yesterday's holiday.  I saw SO many great patriotic outfits that I had a really hard time narrowing it down. And while we're on the topic of this theme, I'm gonna go ahead and throw something out there...Red, White, & Blue is such a great color combo....why don't we all wear it more?  I mean, are we afraid of being accused of being too patriotic...or assume we forgot that Independence Day was last Thursday...or do we not want to be mistaken for Old Glory?  I'm telling you right now, I going to make a real effort to wave my proverbial style flag (pun intended) more often...at least for the remainder of the summer.  Who's with me???
