The Gratitude Attitude Post

Are you ready for Turkey Day?
(I feel like a teacher in this outfit.  No offense, teachers.  Just sayin'.)

I sure have tons to be thankful for.  It's something we strive to teach our children....that we're blessed with SO much, especially in comparison to those in the world in less fortunate circumstances.  I hope one of these days it will sink in their heads that it's not okay to waste food, to throw away good toys, to leave the water running, and that's it IS essential to give thanks and to serve others.  It's actually one of my goals this holiday season, to facilitate experiences that encourage and foster thankfulness in my kids....a continual work in progress.

I could list all my blessings, but I would be here a long time and you don't have the time to read it.  But to cover the important stuff:

I am thankful for my family.  Everyone.  Even second cousins.

I am thankful to live (and have been born) in this great country of ours and every freedom we enjoy.

I am thankful for my friends.  (That includes all you readers, too!)

I am thankful for my health.  And modern medicine.  And alternative medicine, for that matter.

I am thankful for Jesus Christ.  For His example and His atonement for every single person that ever has, and ever will live on this Earth...and that through His grace, we can be forgiven.

I wish y'all a very HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!!

love,
The (soon-to-be-very-stuffed) Mrs. & The Momma

p.s.  Thank you to all who linked up with our Holiday Party yesterday!  If you have a holiday-related post and haven't linked up already...get on over there!  :)
