Today was my youngest girl's 2nd birthday.  I'll save the details of our fun day with her for another time, except to say that we had to modify our plans because of nasty weather.

It rained.  All day long.

We need the rain here in Texas, but it was one of those days that you just have this nagging in your head telling you that in such weather, one should be tucked up tight in bed, wearing fuzzy socks, with no responsibilities, dead-to-the-world asleep.

In my dreams.

P.S.  This vintage-ish Prada bag was a total find at a little re-sale shop I frequented in college.  I scored it my freshman year with the authenticity cards and original price tag in tact....for $75!  One time, I needed money so bad, I went to the store to sell it back, but thankfully, I had a change of heart.  I don't use it much anymore due to its size, but it's always been nice to have a classic, utilitarian bag for traveling, outings when I don't need to pack around 55,343 items of kid stuff, etc.

P.P.S.  I got more than one comment today, telling me that I was dressed like Ellen.  I concur.  In fact, this morning walking downstairs to leave, I said those exact words to my husband!  Weird.
