Holiday Wear

This holiday season snuck up on me.  And I know some may think I'm jumping the gun a bit, but for me it's already time to start brainstorming festive outfits to wear to office parties, family gatherings, get togethers, etc.  So, I dug up some old pictures of past Christmas's to kind of look at what I've worn over the years...

Well, I didn't come up with much.  There are slim pickings of me in pictures because I'm always the one behind the camera.  With the holidays fast approaching though, I need to get on the wardrobe ball in selecting some "holiday chic" attire (as my husband's office party invite requested).

I'm on the lookout for something unique this year for my husband's office party and/or Christmas Eve, when my side of the family gets together.  It's usually somewhat of a "dressy" affair.

I'm thinking something along the lines of wide-leg pants.  Red ones likes these would be perfect!

I apologize for totally neglecting Thanksgiving styles, but in my opinion, anything really fall-ish will do for next week's holiday....as long as the weather allows.  I'm crossing my fingers that it's not in the 80's that day, or it just won't seem like Thanksgiving, and I'll spiral into a its-too-hot-to-drink-cider depression.

Do you have a go-to holiday outfit/style?  I think it's always fun to see what other festive colors are put together besides the usual red, green and metallics.

If I can't find anything suitable, I can always fall back on this staple piece.  Not.

  1. Not unless you get invited to an "Ugly Christmas Sweater Party." :) Dustin and I have always thought it would be fun to throw one of those. Some year… Hahahaha!
