At First I Was Like...

So today was the big day we've been preparing for.  We hosted 25 people (plus kids) in our home for an early Thanksgiving celebration.  Getting ready was an ordeal.  Getting dressed was even more of one...especially since I didn't give it much thought....which lead me to my wardrobe changes.

At first I was like....

shirt: CAbi, earrings: Brighton, jeans, shoes, hat: Target, necklace: mom'd

...But then I was all

see above, plus...cardi: Nordstroms Rack, booties: Sofft

I think the second outfit worked a little better.

Everything ended up great.  All the past week of painting, cleaning, organizing, cooking...not to mention a teensy bit of stress...paid off.

Tomorrow we get to celebrate Thanksgiving at my in-laws, and I'm looking forward to it being not at my house (read: relaxing).
