To Toms...or Not To Toms

That is the question...
I had wanted a pair of Toms for a good long while.  I love the concept of the business...donating a pair of shoes to a needy child is a wonderful charity.

I have a weird thing with buying shoes, though.  I live in constant fear (okay just sporadic fear) of buying my shoes too big or small.  (My feet are different sizes.)  My temperamental shoe sizing has resulted in several pairs of shoes in my wardrobe being too small for me.  Grrrrr.

Knowing that Toms have a stretch factor, I was a little hesitant to get them for fear of getting the wrong size, having too much stretch, and thus having to give them away or have them collect dust in my closet.  You get the picture.

Well, they are in fact a little small.
Not too small to prevent me from wearing them though.  I'm determined to stretch them out a bit more to my liking.  I'll talk sweet to them and cross my fingers they'll oblige.

And when they do...I will be content.  If not, maybe they're just not for everyone.

Are they for you?

  1. LOVE my black glitter ones! I think once yours stretch, you'll be 100% content:)

  2. Love my Toms. My feet are two sizes too and I always buy for the big foot. I hope they stretch out just right for you soon!
