It's a good thing for that wall that I was there that day...
Or it probably would've fallen down.
Also, please note exhibit A of how to look awkwardly and slightly seductive when posing for outfit pics. The one I deleted was even worse...borderline risque.
Why can't I just look straight at the camera and not smile???
Because I look like a droopy-faced box, that's why.
Non-smiling does not bode well for me.
And turning sideways does a little bit...at least more so than straight on.
Okay, ready for me to move on from this unsolicited Posing 101?

Can we talk about this necklace please?
The fab ladies from Noonday Collection sent it over and I just adore it! Noonday has such a caring mission and business plan...you can read up on it here. It feels good to purchase from a company that enables families to stay together and helps prevent children from being orphaned due to poverty. They just launched their fall line, which I got super excited about it. My other favorites include over sized pieces such as these suede fringe earrings and this cool necklace. Seriously check them out...it will give you warm fuzzies contributing to such an inspiring cause.
In other news, I'm excited to announce that I'll be partnering with Zulily for the next month! They are so graciously sponsoring me to attend the Fashion Forward blogger conference in NYC next week. NEXT WEEK! How did that sneak up on me so fast? Anyway, if you're not familiar with Zulily, make sure to check out their deals...more to come soon!!!

I think you look great! Not awkward at all! You are too funny though - I love the title of this post!ReplyDelete
The necklace is lovely! I have the same problem with posing. I find the pictures turn out better when I smile too, even just a little bit.ReplyDelete
Have fun in NYC next week :)
This necklace is fantastic!!! And please...you're posing is always so cute. I am the horrible one! That is awesome about NYC next week!! Are you going by yourself?ReplyDelete
haha! I love that you can laugh at yourself--sometimes it's really hard to know how to pose, and you just have to experiment! I always smile in outfit pictures, I can't get my face to do anything else that looks civilized!ReplyDelete
