Coming Off a Blog Conference High {My "Prom" Outfit}

Welp...after two and a half days of chatting with friends while simultaneously Instagramming our hearts out....listening to the wisdom of some top bloggers I admire....and over-thinking what I wore each day...
I'm back to the real world this morning.
Texas Style Council was extraordinary and I'm so glad I went.  I'm not sure I got as much out of it as last year (when I went practically knowing nothing), but the networking and friendships made made it all worth it.  Just being around like-minded individuals is both refreshing and motivating.
Tomorrow I'll share some of the take-aways I learned, as well as some more "action shots" from the conference.  For today, I just wanted to express my thanks to Indiana and her team (and husband) of rock stars who put on such a wonderful experience.  I was amazed at the little details that require such forethought and planning, as well as their sheer genius.

This is what I wore to the "prom" Saturday night...an outfit that earned me a "best dress" nominee!  I'm in love with the tulle skirt I got for my birthday!!!

p.s. Never EVER wear a bodysuit backwards...your hiney will thank you later. p.p.s. If you DO happen to ever wear a bodysuit (let's be real, it's a straight up leotard), make sure you drink nothing because you won't be doing any bathroom runs over the course of wearing it.  It's just not an option...or one that's worth the ninja skills necessary.
