Blog+Birthday=Blorthday

I've been blogging for several years, but one year ago today I started an additional blog shortly after having my fourth child.  I was stuck in a rut (style-wise...and maybe in other ways, too) and decided to start blogging my outfits, style choices, etc.  It didn't take long before it was too much keeping up with two blogs, so I merged them into one, The Mrs. & The Momma.

Over the past year of putting a lot of time, effort, and consistency into this little blog of mine, I have learned SO much....and know there is tons more to learn yet.

Being a stay at home mom of four small children, I have to conscientiously manage my time.  In fact, my only blogging time I allow myself is after the kids go to bed at night.  I'm well aware that growing a blog takes much more time than I currently have to put into it, but I'm okay with that right now.  I believe that is why this blog has grown slower than most.  This is not to say that I don't see bigger things for it....I do...BIG things!  I just would like to find the balance of blogging and family where time isn't taken away from my children while they're still so little here at home with me.

I'd like to give a HUGE thank you to my readers and especially to my family, who've been super supportive of developing my writing and blogging.  Ultimately, I hope that my children can one day look back upon these many posts and have it read as a journal of our family's happy life together....along with some of their momma's fashion choices, of course.

I can just hear it now....

"Ga, wasn't momma's outfit back then soooooooo 2012??? I can't believe people dressed like that back then!!!!"
