Coast Bound

The beach is one of my favorite places to be.

Here in Texas, our beaches are just okay.  Nothing like Florida, or the west coast, and definitely no where near caribbean beaches.

But, it's only three hours away, so we'll take it.

We are leaving Friday to go to the coast for the long holiday weekend.  My girls have been with their grandparents recently, but I have not been in two years, which is a long time for me, and I have SO needed a vacay!

I was telling one of my friends about our upcoming trip, and she so graciously is letting me borrow her new swimsuit she found at Shabby Apple.

I never think to (or remember) to look for swimwear at this time of year.  It's just not on my radar.  But it's the perfect time to buy, as most swimwear is on sale in the fall.

My friend insists that this billowing top makes everyone look thinner.

I will refrain from posting a picture of myself in it (because no one wants to see that), but I will concur with her in that it definitely has a slimming effect.

I love finding swimsuits that are both modest and flattering to boot!

What are some other "finds" for swimwear?  I'd love to hear where to find some unique suits online.
